I watched Milei’s address to the WEF at Davos (I also read the transcript) and although I agreed with his argument for Capitalism vs Socialism (the kind of Socialism where the oligarchs own everything), I am concerned about his support of monopolies, and do not agree with his statement "regulating monopolies, destroying their profits and destroying growing returns, would automatically destroy economic growth. I’m not an economist, but I always thought that regulating monopolies encourages competition which is the basis for Capitalism. I don’t see how regulating monopolies can “automatically destroy economic growth”. What are your thoughts about that? Also, I was taken by surprise at the warm welcome and intro he received from Klaus Schwab!!! And the applause!
