I am suddenly hearing how we have been purposefully misled. I have been involved in all aspects of The New Age Movement since the nineteen seventies and it is a shock to be presented with the idea that it has been a plan to prepare us for Lucifer’s kingdom and the coming of the antichrist. I was drawn away from Christianity in my late teens, for the lure of Eastern spirituality. I am now seeing so much that is being linked to the dark agenda threatening our future.
What does anyone else feel about this?
Was The New Age consciously planned to deceive us?
I think it’s an important and nuanced topic. Like the Internet, BitCoin and Twitter, there seems to have been deep state involvement at or near the beginning of the New Age movement. There are risks to all of them, but in each case I think the horse got our of the barn and has a life of its own now that can be very beneficial.
paul swatrtidge If you cultivate your own intuition and take what is good from all systems of dogma you encounter and leave the rest, you don’t fall for anything. I walk and have always walked my own independent spiritual path, and a lot of it has involved what is considered New Age, but I never fit into any religion, whether it’s New Age or otherwise. I have an aversion to dogma and to people pressuring me to be a certain way.
Organized religion is obviously the wrong way to go. Having said that, in my opinion, any group is the wrong way to go, because I think all groups form around required dogma and belief systems, and in so-doing, they close themselves off to truth and spiritual evolution, which takes its natural course, unless you block it out with dogma.
Celestine Every sentence that you wrote applies to me. We must be resonating on the same frequency.
Celestine I’m very much the same. My dad was a Physicist, Mathematician and atheist, my mother wasn’t a church goer either. I believe there’s a creator and something bigger than myself and I don’t feel a urgency to know exactly what. What little I’ve experienced and read about organized religion is pretty contradictory and my energy does not recognize it at all. People telling me what I “must” do in order to be “saved” aren’t very well received either. Also, knowing that rulers and governments have been self-serving forever, my thoughts on King James, the Vatican, and whomever else was involved in translation and decisions on what the Bible would include makes me wonder if nefarious motives skewed either.
I truly believe that we don’t know it all and never will but if I practice connecting to the good frequency of the universe, listen to the “inner voice” that we all have, and strive to do no harm, that’s the closest I’m going to get to whatever “God” is.
