unwitting_labrat I’m sorry for the difficulty; it’s not clear what might be causing the issue.
I’m assuming you would like to start a private discussion with someone.
Here are some things you can try:
- Click on “Private Discussions” (again)
- Reload the page
- Choose “Log Out” from your user menu, then click the “Forum” link on the main site to return to the Forum
- Try a different browser
- Navigate to another user’s Forum profile page, then click on the “Controls” menu on the right side of the profile banner and choose “Send _____ a message”
If none of these suggestions work, can you describe the last thing you clicked on to arrive at the page with the button that says “Can’t Start Discussion”?
