It would seem that at the root of the most glaring domestic socio-economic and political polarities
there is the question of the use legitimate power as defined by the Constitution – and since it was
conceived, written, ratified, and implemented (Sept. 17, 1787-89), and how its inherent facets,
and functions of power have been abused, confused, exploited, taken for granted, usurped, or blatantly violated.
And whereas, all of these tendencies can distort, ignore, or scramble the social order – we witness the results
of how illegitimate power can lead to corruption, tyranny, treason, and to further disruption and destruction of the
social order, and in the worst case to international wars.
All this makes many of us wonder, whether we should advocate (Under Article V) to call a Constitutional Convention –
which requires a ⅔ majority, as 34/50 of the states, and 38/50 of the states to ratify amendments which would seek to
examine, restructure to fix or correct the most systemic problems. If America would show intrinsic responsibility to itself
it would set a global example.
If we are to proceed with the hopes of a representative Democracy, then it would follow that the Rule of Law must
prevail with greater transparency. The unprecedented use of devisive Presidential Executive Authority in recent times for
instance, appears to be at the crux of many of our current problems, as though executed by a Ruling Class with
politicians as their exponents of raw power.
Perhaps therefore an Independent Third Party platform could initiate this transformative method to create the
ground swell advocacy towards this consensus for calling an unprecedented Constitutional Convention with renewed
success. All US citizens with a social conscience could therefore participate in their own particular states to urge their
legislatures to join up.
These are my contributing remarks as a Sovereign Principal coping with “Statism” across many years like the rest of us.
