Empowering for self-sufficiency is key and addresses each and everyone. We see that as shown on https://www.focushumanity.net/vocateering.html. We are and will continue to be a changing group of volunteer professionals who dedicate themselves to the restoration of functioning, self-sufficient settlements and resilient societies. This includes everything from repairing broken houses to growing and preserving food to building entire settlements in no man’s land. We go on long-term journeys, stay and help where we are needed, and move on from place to place, from need to need. When we are no longer needed in one place, the core team moves on. Some of us may stay there because theylike it, while others join us on tour from that place because they want to discover new places and put their talents to good use somewhere else. It’s like a caravan or a travelling circus: we arrive as guests, perform, stay for a while, fascinate and engage, and then move on to the next place. The teams are dynamic, some of their members are always on the move, others ‘jump off’ at a place they like, new ones ‘jump on’ because they are fascinated by the idea and the self-imposed mission. Gradually, more and more people and troupes are touring the world to offer solidarity and help where there is otherwise only emptiness and hopelessness. And so, little by little, livable places are created where people can live in safety and security.

Woodworking, wood processing and timber construction: house building, interior design, furniture making.
Textile crafts: spinning, dyeing, knitting, weaving, tailoring, sewing, repairing, altering.
Stone and minerals: working with stone, creating load-bearing structures, pottery, dyeing, firing.
Water supply and wastewater treatment:
tapping springs, storing water, sanitary facilities, purifying and recycling wastewater, water management, aquatic cultures, wetlands.
Medicine: medicinal plants, medicines, ointments, tinctures.
Tools and equipment: purposes, handling, maintenance, repair.
