Foster, ln light of your training in conflict resolution, how would you try to deal peacefully with the Middle East situation? This is assuming you could actually get all parties in one room (which would not happen in the world we live in). How could you show these groups that peaceful cooperation is better than using death and destruction as a policy tool? We know that many of these groups only want chaos.

I guess your question is to inspire thought as to how we COULD respond, as a point of education, learning and inspiration, since you feel sure such a meeting is not happening in this world!

As Joseph mentioned above, death and destruction is what I would call to be similar when a child becomes extremely unhappy it broadcasts a tantrum hoping it will force it’s will. If parent is not mature it will jump into it’s own tantrum which could inspire an eternal tantrum. I have found if a tantrum is ignored it dwindles and dies. The tantrum DOES LOVE A TANTRUM RESPONSE. This seems to create some satisfaction which can possibly be, then, enjoyed by both sides. This enjoyment could be likened to the profit and creating, often, false economies. Here we have a mess created by a tantrum and it’s tantrum responder…… The best response to a child’s tantrum is to turn and create a positive, profitable environment which leaves the original tantrum with no satisfaction, standing all alone with nowhere to go or be anymore. Many groups in the USA are presently meeting to do just this introducing a Republic and/or Sociocracy.
