Foster Gamble Thank your for your valuable time and wisdom. I have learned lot from you, Kimberly and friends.
I was an uncompromising gardener/orchardist for about forty years. Every year our plum trees was inhabited with aphids and masses of hungry lady bugs. That tree kept producing a lot of sweet juice fruit even though its leaves kept dripping sap and little fertilizer.
One year, a nearby huge willow tree was also dripping sap because of hundreds-plus buzzing wasps. They never stung anyone.
We moved to another state and continued gardening. There I learned about soil pollution, dying fruit trees, declining bee population, happy sneaky gophers, golf course pollution, pesticide drift and denialist silence.
